How Does it Work

Preparing for the Conference

Prior to the conference, you will be asked to sign up for sessions you want to attend (that will come later). For each session, we will provide a list of programs to install on your computer previously, as well as provide a ZIP file containing any files from the presenter you will need for the session.

Don't Have a Laptop to Bring?

If you don't have a laptop to bring, rent one from us! During the registration process, you can choose which days of the conference you would like to rent a laptop. The cost is $100/day.

During the Conference

During the conference, we will have a convenient way to help all attendees install necessary programs and presentation files. It is highly recommended, however, that you do this prior to the conference. (Again, you will later receive an email instructing you on how to do this.)

Sessions

BYOL sessions will be 2 hours long, and will usually be a combination of lecture and hands-on acitivity. There will also be lecture sessions, which will last approximately 50 minutes.

All session rooms are set up classroom style, meaning you'll have a table to set your laptop on. There will also be plenty of power strips for everyone to plug in.
